Our next event is
With a Twist
Friday 10th October 2014 is World Mental Health Day: a globally designated time for everyone (sane or otherwise) to try to consider and celebrate, educate and advocate about mental health issues worldwide. Its primary aim is to raise individuals’ awareness of what mental illness is and how it can impact on lives both singularly and collectively.
Cam-Era is a small group of artists based in Nottingham. They have come together to commemorate the occasion each having experienced mental distress themselves and thus being in a position to potentially edify others whether through themselves or through their work in this visual salutation. Exhibiting for one night only.
The artists are
Bob Malone, Charlotte Allchurch, Dave Nicholas, Fiona Dobney, John Radmall,
John Wheat, Kayrakise Evans, Mark Lindsay, Martin Selbys, Rosa Taylor,
Paul Marconetto, Richard Hulland, and Sam Hardwick,
The exhibition is on
5pm-7pm on Friday 10th October 2014 at
69-73 Lower Parliament Street
Refreshments will be available
